2. Soft diet
By eating lighter food, you give your body more time and energy to fight the infection. Lighter food will also pass through your throat much easier, not worsening the pain.
3. Steam
Steaming water with a mild cold suppressant is very good in fighting against throat infection and nasal conjunctivitis. Make sure you inhale the steam in such a way that the heat reaches all the infected areas for best results. Do it twice a day for a minimum of 15 minutes for best results.
4. Local heat
At times you might feel pain in the infected area. The pain might come at a random time or while you eat something. Using heating pads or wrapping a hot towel around your neck will help you ease off the pain.
5. Avoid moving around
