Massages are an excellent remedy that can help you relieve yourself from pain in our knee and joints. Using essential oils during the massage can make it more effective. Studies show us that specific essential oils like orange and ginger play an important role in getting rid of knee pain. Massaging releases the stiffness in your knee and reduces the pain as well.

The symptoms of knee pain can be lessened by using both heat and cold compress method. But this treatment might vary based on the specific condition you are suffering from. In the case of inflammation, you will have to go for a cold compress since heat compress might worsen your situation. You can opt for heat compress in the case of arthritis and other similar pains.

Studies have suggested that apple cider vinegar can help in getting relief from arthritis and other chronic pains since it has a lot of anti-inflammatory properties. It restores the lubrication in your joints which in turn reduces the pain, making it easy for us to move our legs. Make a solution with half a cup of apple cider vinegar and water. Drink it before you go to bed for the best results.

This common household herb is rich in the compound gingerol. It is anti-inflammatory by nature. All forms of ginger, including raw ginger, ginger extract and ginger oil, can help with your knee pain. Consuming ginger tea twice a day can also give you relief from your knee pain.

Capsaicin is one of the very active components of cayenne pepper. Capsaicin is a natural painkiller. Take a teaspoon of cayenne pepper and mix it with two teaspoons of olive oil, making a paste. Apply the paste and massage the affected area for the best results.

Epsom salt is a unique combination of sulfate and magnesium. They are both vert good pain-relieving agents. They help in alleviating the pain and reduce swelling as well. Make a bath adding a spoon of epsom salt and soak yourself for 30 minutes.
