There is no doubt that breakfast is the most important meal of your day. But in today’s fast phased life schedule, we have begun considering breakfast as a hindrance. We end up grabbing a quick bite for the sake of it and do not pay much attention to whether it is healthy.

Myth 1: YOU CAN LOSE WEIGHT BY SKIPPING YOUR BREAKFAST

The facts: This is followed by the common misconception that eating less will help you lose weight. Studies have repeatedly shown that people are able to lose weight much easier by having a wholesome and healthy breakfast, rather than skipping meals. Skipping breakfast leads you to consume unhealthy food at odd hours, messing up your calorie intake. In other cases, it leads to unnecessary overeating during your lunch hours.

Myth 2: NO TIME FOR BREAKFAST

 The facts: Mornings can become hectic and tiring and breakfast can become the least important of your concerns then. But is imperative that you get proper solid meal inside your system within two or three hours since you have woken up. There are several simple ways you can get a healthy breakfast ready within a short time. If possible, make minor preparations for your breakfast the previous night.

 Myth 3: DO NOT FEEL HUNGRY

The facts: In the morning, you might not exactly feel as hungry as you feel before lunch or supper. But staying in an empty stomach for such a long time can lead to serious health issues in the long term. If not immediately after waking up have something at least within a few hours.

Myth 4: EGGS & CEREAL FOR BREAKFAST

The facts: For your breakfast to be healthy it does not have to have cereals or eggs in them. If you are not a big fan of the traditional breakfast pattern, you do not have to follow it. Make sure you eat whatever you are comfortable with and it is healthy. Just make it a point to stay away from packed food, which has a lot of sugar content.

Myth 5: SKIPPING BREAKFAST TO SAVE MONEY

The facts: Skipping breakfast might give you short term ease in cash flow. But this habit can result in you having long-term effects in your health ending up you spending a fortune to restore your health. People who eat a proper healthy breakfast on a regular basis are known to lower the risk of hypertension, heart disease and obesity.
